Spinal Tap: Break Like the Wind

Stabarific is sleeping on the rug directly abreast our new dresser project, unfortunately perched atop the ’50s cabinet is my oft-used & beloved stereo. This is truly a predicament. How do I blast my newest album, a relic from the early butt-rock period of 1992, without awakening a raging stab-monster?

What I’m Listening To Tomorrow:

Spinal Tap: Break Like the Wind.

The second of three heavily sought after mock-rock (a genre pronounced eerily similar to Nigel Tufnel’s musical inspiration for Lick My Love Pump) records, Break Like the Wind includes a few classics initially left off the original Spinal Tap (Soundtrack) album.

Enjoy.

  1. I can’t seem to listen to the whole album at once, but the songs crack me up. I was raised on the classic rock stations, and fondly remember Iron Man being blasted out of my Dad’s 4 foot high German speakers often, so I dig it. I think sprinkled in a road trip playlist is the perfect application for these tunes.
